His time spent in UT Austin's RTF program garnered him many student festival awards, with his first short animation broadcast on KERA's Frame of Mind and ESPN's Longhorn Network, and one of his short films receiving more than 100,000 views online (as well as international online press).

In addition to working in independent productions by day, he worked as a Screener for the SXSW Film Festival from 2019-2021, reviewing hundreds of films annually. Kennedy was most recently employed in post-production on several entries in the ratings-smash-hit Real Housewives franchise. Kennedy has also worked in editing departments on My 600-lb Life, Where Are They Now?, Winter House, Summer House, and Shipping Wars, among other shows (both in development and on-air).

He still does freelance editing work in TV and film, enjoying the freedom that comes with independence. Contact Kennedy above, for more information.
